Quiet, dependable, 1/3 HP , oil-filled, sump pump with shaded pole motor designed for reliable performance and durability. ss57a sump pump has a pressure diaphragm switch system. Corrosion inhibitors in switch system insure exceptional reliability and dependability. No outside moving parts to tangle or collect debris. Long air chamber helps keep switch clean and dry. Side intake will pass 1/4" solids and remain clog free. Silver, polyester powder coated, cast iron motor housing. All cast iron parts use fusible powder coating- no V.O.C.s (Voltage Organic Compounds) released to the atmosphere. No mercury used in manufacturing sump pumps for better environmental safety. High capacity, 180 cycles per hour. Every sump pump is vacuum and pressure tested for absolute leak detection. each sump pump is run through its complete cycle and shipped completely assembled and ready to use.
